I am a 51 year old single Mum of three children ranging between the ages of 9-15 and am very excited to have been awarded a place to run in the London Marathon in April of this year. In doing this I will be helping to raise much needed funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
This is a fantastic Charity, whose aim is to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families, helping them to smile again. They make the children’s time in hospital easier by providing positive, entertaining and comforting experiences, they give the whole family something to look forward to, to share and remember by providing once in a lifetime wishes, which they wouldn’t be able to do without the support of the Foundation.
My aim is to raise £2,000, I have created a Just Giving Page and have organised a Bingo event along with various other fundraisers to help me along the way, I have nearly reached the half way point, which is amazing !
I am hoping you might be able to help me secure my aim of raising £2,000 for this fantastic Charity, with a donation. Anything at all, no matter how large or small, would be greatly appreciated.
